There really isn’t another place quite like here. GRP has become home for so many people. It’s a place of sanctuary and safety. The sweet song of the morning forest awakens the soul. Together, we amble into the mountains and through the Green River, to search for ourselves and find what the day might bring. With the the right set of eyes, you can see anything. As we explore the woods and creeks and look deeply into the valleys surrounding and encompassing the Preserve, the sights we see are shared. Experiences will be talked about for years to come. Each moment feels small and large at the same time. Every millisecond is both monumentally complex and beautifully singular. There will never again be a now quite like today. Anyone that’s found Green River Preserve and has lived here, for any amount of time, knows that each of us believe we can be accepted for who we are here and that it is important for us all seize every single opportunity to be exactly ourselves. Our hearts are our own, but our hearts all beat as one. Tomorrow, we’ll have another day to grow, to find what sparks the light and captures our imagination or curiousity in this magical kingdom we’re so lucky to be a part of.
