Green River Preserve is a place deeply defined by its mission “to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards through a joyful connection to nature.” We have worked with countless experts in their respective fields - educators, naturalists, psychologists, naturalists - over the past 30 years to make sure that we are intentional and informed in our work of delivering that mission to the thousands of young people that have spent time here. We believe that now is the time to expand this brain trust, if you will, to the young people that we serve. With that belief in mind and the support of our entire administrative team and board, we are so excited to announce that we are making a call for applicants to join our very first Youth Advisory Council. The deadline for applications is January 15th.
