Rayette Friar

Kitchen and Dining Director

After working in our kitchen for the past four years, Rayette has taken the reigns as GRP’s Kitchen and Dining Director. Her main focus is supplying meals for all campers, staff, and other guests at GRP.

Born and raised in Mississippi, Rayette fell in love with summer camps early and has worked at several prior to coming to GRP. She has a culinary degree and specializes in dietary restrictions and gourmet meals. We are blessed to have her at the helm directing our kitchen staff and keeping us all happy and healthy each day at camp.

Cooking and camp are two of Rayette’s favorite activities, so she is ecstatic to use her knowledge of both subjects to provide delicious, healthy meals and snacks for all visitors of GRP.
