Catherine’s love of nature was fostered during her five years at Green River Preserve as a camper. Originally from Greer, South Carolina, she is a rising sophomore at American University in Washington, D.C. and is pursuing a major in Arab World Studies. While she loves the nation’s capital, she is ready to get back to her roots and spend her summer in the mountains. Her favorite times are spent with friends out in the woods on the trails, traveling abroad, and looking up at the stars on clear nights. Otherwise, you can usually find her in a boxing gym, at the beach with a surfboard, or on the ski slopes at Beech Mountain.
This is her first summer as a counselor, and she hopes to help her campers create some unforgettable memories while they are at camp. She is excited to share stories from her time as a camper, and is looking forward to joining the GRP family again!
