All applications begin online. You will create an account with CampInTouch, and from there you will be prompted to begin a staff application.
Remember that your answers to our application questions are how we get a sense of who you are.
The more thoughtful, detailed, and error-free your application, the more likely we are to offer you an interview.
As part of our online application, you will submit the contact information for three professional or academic references. (No family members or family friends, please.) Once you submit your application, our online system will send a survey to your references for them to fill out. There is no need to have them send us a written letter in addition.
Once we receive your completed application, we will contact you within six weeks if we would like to schedule an interview.
If you are offered an interview, we will also send you more detailed information about life at GRP and a pre-interview survey. We conduct most interviews online using Google Hangouts.
Mentors: If you are applying to work as a Mentor naturalist, we ask that you submit a lesson plan after your interview. We will provide details for you at that time.
After your interview, we will let you know within one week what our next steps will be. We may ask for a second interview, place you on our waitlist or backup list, or deliberate and make a decision. We can only make job offers once we have heard from all three of an applicant’s professional or academic references.

Yay! Return, return, return to GRP. Here is what you need to do.
First, head to your CampInTouch account and complete an application. This tells our system to move you from “alumni” to “applied” status, which is important for keeping track of your application, our emails to you, etc. Don’t worry. The process is simpler for veteran GRP staff.
All we ask is that you update your contact info and activity preferences. When you reach the question section, you can write “N/A” in the main questions and skip to the last one. There, you’ll tell us what you’ve been up to since you worked last for us and why you’d like to return.
Don’t worry about making adjustments here. We know you! If we’d like to reach out to a reference, we will let you know.
Once we have your application, we will send you an email to set up an interview. We can’t wait to catch up! You will typically hear a decision from us within a week of your interview.
