Director of Programs & Operations

The Operations Director specializes in the planning, implementation, and execution of all GRP summer programming (expeditions and base camp programs). In addition to the logistical focus of this job, the position also works with families to support their needs in the months prior to camp as well as assists with hiring and management of 100 seasonal staff employees. Living, breathing, and dedicating their life to summer camping is a must.

Kitchen and Dining Director

The Kitchen and Dining Director is responsible for the entire kitchen and dining operation ensuring good sanitation procedures and safe food for our camp community including purchasing, preparation, nutrition, service, security, personnel management, customer service, cleanliness, and record keeping. Additionally, they will ensure that quality food is being served while maintaining a budget. Strong Kitchen Operation background (3+ years experience preferred) is your competitive advantage.

Farm and Property Manager

The Farm and Property Manager will split time between a heavy farm season (April-October) and property management. You will be responsible for everyday activities on the farm including but not limited to planting, harvesting, teaching, weeding, watering, maintaining the farm. You will work closely with the camp leadership team and help supervise counselors, mentors, interns, and campers when they visit the farm. You will work closely with the Director during the summer season to maintain the facilities and property and then prioritize projects for the off-season (October-March).
