Saturday, April 27th from 11am to 1pm, join us for a picturesque spring afternoon on the Preserve, where family, friends, and our community come together. Nestled by the lake, indulge in a scrumptious homemade lunch and relish the opportunity to connect with everyone in a serene setting. There will be opportunities for fun, games, and live music in the front field too!
This Spring Picnic is more than an event – it’s an invitation to create lasting memories in the heart of nature.
Explore the wonders of nature with one of our trail maps, whether you choose a self-guided hike before or after lunch. Ascend to Upper Bald for breathtaking views or take a leisurely stroll along the Green River – the choice is yours.
Want to extend your visit and immerse yourself in the essence of GRP? You can do so by renting a campsite for Friday or Saturday night in our primitive camping shelters.

We are thrilled to invite you to enjoy GRP with us for what is certain to be a special day filled with connection, joy, and memories. We hope to see you and your family this Spring!
We want this weekend to be accessible to any family who wishes to come. Please reach out to if your family would like to attend but the cost is prohibitive.
Camping
Want to extend your day at Camp? We will be renting out all of our primitive campsites for $100 a night. Camp by the Green River, see the stars in Upper Bald field, or adventure out to Chicken! Please email if you want to rent a campsite.

Spring Picnic on the Preserve is open to all!
Spring Picnic on the Preserve is open to all family members. We do ask that at least one adult accompany children throughout the day. If a child is too young for an activity, one adult can remain with them and not participate.
We are unplugged at camp! GPS and cell service is nonexistent on the Preserve, so please use the driving directions.

While we are beyond excited to see so many friends of GRP gathered together for the day, please leave your pets behind.
Lunch will be served mid day in the front field. Otherwise, the day is yours to explore the property.
