Kicking Off Summer Staff Training 2025

Summer has officially begun at Green River Preserve, and with it comes the arrival of our 2025 Summer Staff! As new and returning team members step onto The Preserve, they bring energy, excitement, and a shared commitment to making this season unforgettable.

The first day was all about introductions, as staff members got to know one another through icebreakers, storytelling, and moments of connection. Laughter echoed over the field and through the trees as friendships began to form, and the warmth of the GRP spirit quickly took hold.

Team building games followed, pushing us to communicate, collaborate, and trust one another. Whether navigating a group challenge or simply sharing a meal, these activities set the tone for the summer ahead—one rooted in mutual respect and shared purpose.

Perhaps the most meaningful moment of our early moments together was the Respect Circle. Sitting side by side, we committed to giving our absolute best this season—to be present, to uplift one another, and to ensure that every camper’s experience is one of growth, joy, and adventure. With heartfelt promises, we reinforced the values that make Green River Preserve such a special place.

These first days have already proven that we are surrounded by a team ready to inspire, lead, and create magic. As training continues, we can’t wait to dive deeper into the skills, experiences, and connections that will make this summer truly one for the books.
