Green River Preserve 2025 Annual Report

Spring has officially awakened the Green River Valley, filling our days with the vibrant energy of young environmental stewards from our School of Environmental Education (SEE) programs. As the days warm up, our excitement is building for the arrival of our summer staff and the return of our campers to the basecamp, trails, and waterfalls. This past year has been one of incredible growth and profound gratitude, and we are thrilled to officially share our 2025 Annual Report, highlighting the community-driven success of our FY 24/25 Annual Fund.

Our mission remains simple: we want any child who wishes to experience the magic of the Preserve to be able to do so. Thanks to the immense generosity of our donors, we are thriving and continuing to say “yes” to these children. However, as we look ahead, we need your help to bridge the gap and meet our goal of providing a scholarship to every single child who needs one this summer. Catherine is Executive Director at Green River Preserve. When she is not in full summer camp or SEE (School of Environmental Education) mode, she is exploring the trails and trout streams of WNC. During programs you can find her driving buses, lifeguarding at the dock, eating meals with campers, or running around with her dog Rosco. She tries to resist disrupting fly fishing classes with celebratory whoops of “fish on” when a camper hooks a fish, but is not often successful.
