Hi, I’m Katherine

Counselor

As a native North Carolinian, Katherine spent her summers growing up hiking and camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains. She was a GRP camper for 5 years and did both the Blue Ridge and Outer Banks expeditions and has always wanted to come back to camp as a counselor. Spending years at Green River, Katherine developed a love for the outdoors. Currently living in New York for college, if you can’t find her reading out on the lawn then she might be two hours outside the city going on an impromptu hike. She’s interested in sustainable agriculture and her dream is to one day hike the Appalachian Trail. She is so excited to join us for her first year as a GRP counselor!
