Hi, I’m Maizie!

Counselor

Despite being born in the suburbs of Atlanta, even as a child Maizie found every excuse to be outside. Her favorite activities as a kid rotated between climbing trees, collecting + releasing cool bugs, and hiking. She has been working with kids since she was 16, with time spent as a ranch-based summer camp counselor and Goddard School Teacher. Maizie is currently a freshman in college pursuing a BS in Biodiversity, Conservation, and Natural Resources! She has 38 stickers (and counting) on her Subaru and plans to collect more on the drive to camp this summer! This is her first summer at GRP and she is so so excited to spend this summer helping foster a love for the environment and forming connections in the GRP family!
