Liz first came to GRP to drop her daughter off at camp and immediately thought-I wish I could stay here! A decade later finds her still at GRP while both her kids have grown and flown. As a mentor, she loves to lead hikes and splash and explore in the river! Her favorite activities are archery and pottery. She lives in Chapel Hill with her partner Jola, dogs, cats, lizard, turtles, and axolotls. She teaches middle school science and high school biology on the banks of the Haw River. When not busy teaching, she loves to camp in her converted school bus and paddle or hike.
