Born and raised in Charleston, SC, EJ found a second home in the mountains and a love for the outdoors after attending GRP as a camper for many summers. EJ is a recent graduate of the College of Charleston with a degree in Psychology and Studio Art. While finishing up their senior year, they worked with schools and other community members as the Education Coordinator for the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art. After an amazing summer as Counselor last year, EJ is excited to be continuing their GRP journey as a Mentor and to be teaching Drawing & Painting this summer. Some of their favorite parts of camp include the hikes, Camp Out, the art projects, and the people. At home, when they’re not studying, drawing, or in the printmaking studio, you can find them reading or spending time at the climbing gym - a new hobby they just picked up!
