Originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, Lauren spent seven summers as a camper at GRP, making lifelong friends and forging a deep connection to the natural world. After working as a counselor at GRP in 2021, Lauren is so excited to return in a new capacity this year by serving as an Americorps and Resilience Corps NC member. With a focus on outreach education during the off season, specifically the Kids Agricultural Learning Experience (KALE) program, she is ready to get campers excited about life at the GRP farm.

In her free time, you can find Lauren reading books, thrifting, finding new coffee shops, and practicing guitar. As a recent graduate of Duke University, she is so excited for the opportunity to spend her first year post-college immersed in a community that has provided her with so much joy and fulfillment.
