Hi, I’m Meaghan!

Americorps Member

Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Meaghan has always considered the Appalachian Mountains to be a second home after spending many years exploring at GRP as a camper. After two summers on staff, Meaghan is thrilled to be a part of the GRP community in a new capacity this year by serving as an Americorps and Resilience Corps NC member. With a focus on outreach education during the off season, specifically the Kids Agricultural Learning Experience (KALE) program, they are ready to get campers excited about life at the GRP farm. Learning all they can about regenerative agriculture and working on amazing upcoming projects from the farm to base camp, Meaghan is glad to be continuing their time at GRP through these two incredible organizations.

When they are not at the farm, you can find Meaghan playing guitar or petting the nearest dog. They are especially looking forward to singing and dancing with faces new and old, stargazing, and cooling off in the river. A recent graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, they are so grateful to begin their next chapter in a place and community that is so special to them.
