Family roots + a love of bluegrass music and pottery brought Daphne to WNC where she has made ceramic art at Odyssey, Penland, The Bascom, and most recently at John C. Campbell Folk School, in the first clay mentee program. Mixing up an artistic life, she is a private chef, writer, and potter who loves teaching kids and bringing out creativity in the camp setting. She’s usually covered in clay or making something scrumptious. Depends on the day.
