Hi, I’m Jen!

Camp Nurse

Jen is an Emergency Room RN who has been working at Mission Health in Asheville, NC since early 2023. She has a BSN from Western Carolina University, as well as a BA in Film Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She has been frequenting GRP since the early 2000’s, first as a camper, next as a BRX and OBX expeditioner, and then as a counselor in 2012. She came back to GRP in 2022 as a camp nurse and is excited for the opportunity to return to the position. In her free time, Jen works with the worms and the goats on the GRP farm with her partner, Geoff. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, and blindly diving into a wide array of outdoor sports, including biking, climbing, and whitewater rafting.
