Jerry completed his undergraduate studies in Psychology at Davidson College. After two years in the U.S. Peace Corps in Nepal, Jerry attended U.N.C. School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. An interest in Native American culture led Jerry to pursue his Internship in Scottsdale, Arizona. He completed his Residency in Family Medicine at U.N.C. Chapel Hill. Jerry’s primary work was in the Urgent Care Division of Atrium HealthCare in Charlotte. On a parttime basis, he has worked with National Geographic/Lindblad Expeditions for the past 20 years. Jerry continues to be passionate about Nature and world travel. Jerry is married to Camp Nurse Marcy. They have 4 adult children.
