Natasha is an international student at the University of the South in Sewanee Tennessee. Natasha was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, and has always had a passion for social justice. Her time as a boarding student at Episcopal High school fueled her drive for social justice issues concerning race, gender, and sexuality, especially among young children. During the summer of her freshman year at Sewanee, Natasha joined GRP and began working as a diversity, equity, and inclusion intern and support staff both around base camp and outside the preserve. Her summer at GRP helped Natasha connect with nature and work on issues regarding inclusivity at camp. Natasha is looking forward to this summer at GRP and hopes to continue working with the preserve in the future.
