Although not known for its nature, Sydney grew up hiking and exploring in Cleveland, Ohio. Her passion for outdoors led her to receive a degree in environmental science from American University. Her experience ranges from studying botany in Ireland, researching fungi in the Amazon, and even trail construction. Outside of work, Sydney is always in search of an adventure through rock climbing, hiking, or camping. She looks forward to a great season and is excited to share her knowledge of botany and ecology with the GRP community!
