It was a hard paddle today from Cape Lookout to Shell Point, but the OBXers all made it and are happy to be “home” at Stella. Everyone joined in and played Banana Grams all afternoon, in between cleaning dry bags and camping gear, and then ate a huge dinner of hamburgers, hot dogs, and string beans on the grill. Boy was it fabulous! After that amazing dinner, we all just stretched out and relaxed last night with a movie. The plan is to have fun for the next 2 days while going to an aquarium, surfing, and then to Fort Macon, a Civil War-era fort. Needless to say, we are all happy, have clean bodies and full bellies. We are all looking forward to the sausage jumbalaya final dinner.
