Expeditioners are Happily Exhausted

For the past week, both Blue Ridge Expeditioners and Outer Banks Expeditioners have been out and about exploring. The BRX crew has been in Pisgah National Forest hiking a total of 46 miles and spending the last six nights sleeping outside under the stars. They have hiked on ridges, through rhododendron forests, down river gorges, and many other beautiful sites. We are headed out to their base camp this evening to trade a hot apple crisp and ice cream for some stories.

OBX has been on the banks the last few nights. They spent today exploring Cape Lookout and taking an easy day on the beach. Prior to that they were on Shakelford with the wild horses. They plan to paddle back to the mainland tomorrow and start cleaning up and celebrating for their final evening. We cannot wait to hear their stories too!
