Campout-Day 2!

As the campers venture onward they experience new challenges, fun obstacles, and exciting scenery. Tonight is their last evening to sleep under the moon and not under their cabin roofs. This is their time to roast marshmallows and tell stories around the campfire. Camping is such a wonderful way to bond with your brother or sister cabin, as well as your counselors and Mentors. You make new friends while building your skills in teamwork. We’re ready to have all our campers and staff back tomorrow morning and cannot wait to hear about their many adventures out in the wilderness!

Green River Preserve

Green River Preserve is a non-competitive, coed summer camp connecting children with nature. Located on a 3,400 acre private wildlife preserve in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, this extraordinary natural setting inspires campers to have a greater understanding of themselves, their environment, and their fellow man. Designed for bright, curious, and creative children, our program nurtures character development and fosters skills like perseverance, curiosity, communication, optimism, creativity, and GRIT.
