Afternoon Activities & CTF

By Kristin Caddick

Today, camp is starting to feel like home again for our Session 3 returners. Our new campers are also starting to feel right at home. The day began with a delicious ORT-free breakfast of waffles and peaches. Following this, campers embarked on Mentor hikes to find a rare green salamander and even a copperhead, making us 1/4 of the way there to a Grand Slam.

In afternoon activities, campers are busy exercising their bright, curious, and creative selves. One might be found knitting on the Craft Lodge porch, building and wood burning a box in Woodworking or in the case of Miranda from All Tucked Inn 2, celebrating as she hit the dream shot in BB Skeet.

The transformation from the first day to the second day is almost dramatic. First day jitters have quickly turned into energy invested into new friendships and a fierce will to grab the noodle in tonight’s evening program, Capture the Flag.

We hope you check back tomorrow for more updates!
