Another day, Another Bonfire

Day 2 of campout and everyone is having a blast.

Camping exerts so much energy what with the backpacking and hiking that many of our staff take the rest hour very seriously. So seriously.

Along with wonderful dreams of camping our campers have been graced with the presence of mushrooms everywhere and of all shapes and sizes!

Being out on the preserve really gives the campers and staff a chance to appreciate nature and all its beauty. They are all enjoying being with one another out in the wilderness.
Nature is wonderful.

Green River Preserve

Green River Preserve is a non-competitive, coed summer camp connecting children with nature. Located on a 3,400 acre private wildlife preserve in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, this extraordinary natural setting inspires campers to have a greater understanding of themselves, their environment, and their fellow man. Designed for bright, curious, and creative children, our program nurtures character development and fosters skills like perseverance, curiosity, communication, optimism, creativity, and GRIT.
