GRP Poets

by Gabby H.

“The leaves rustle,
footsteps echo around the forest,
and the earth shakes as a hand reaches out to climb the mighty, overhanging cliff.

Feet and legs collapse onto the surface of the cliff,
gasping at the beauty of the rhododendron,
now deciding to bloom in the summer.

Ferns decorate the pathway,
opening up to…a camp.”
