Staf Spotlight: Samantha Keebler

Today we caught up with Samantha Keebler!

Q: What is your position at GRP this Summer?
A: Mentor and Media Assistant

Q: How many years have you been at GRP?
A: This will be my third year at GRP as a staff member.

Q: What are you currently doing?
A: Traveling and Photography

Q: What is your spirit animal and why?
A: A black bear, because of how connected I felt while in their presence during the summer I spent in Ketchikan, AK. Absolutely magical.

Q: What are you passionate about?
A: LIFE!! Every day is an adventure, and I am so passionate about living each day to the fullest. Photography! Capturing beautiful moments that tell stories for years.

Q: What is your favorite thing to do outside?
A: I love exploring and photographing wildlife and landscape! Being in nature is more than enough to make me happy!

Q: Tell us about your favorite trip/experience.
A: I would say the summer spent in Ketchikan, AK. Getting to walk among the black bears and experience a beautiful, peaceful animal is beyond words.

Q: Why did you choose to come back to GRP this summer?
A: Because it feels like home, and I believe any place that feels that good, is worth coming back to time and time again. The growth I experience every year is life changing.

Q: What is something interesting that happened to you this year?
A: My partner and I rescued a puppy from a kill shelter, which became our most precious addition to the family.

Q: Where is your favorite place to hike?
A: I would have to say, any place on GRP is my favorite.
