Growth

Today has been a wonderful day, filled not only with fun, but growth as well. As the campers continue on their journey, they are learning about friendship, nature, nutrition and many, many different types of activities. They have embarked on their individual paths of becoming their unique and beautiful selves.

One camper describes growth as, “something getting bigger.” Growth is defined by another camper as, “gaining skill level.” During this week at GRP, we have not only seen an increase in activity-based skills, but also a certain widening within themselves. Life lessons are learned throughout the day, where campers get to dive into realms often unseen by children of such a young age. Through each activity and each moment here at GRP, we have the privilege to witness young boys and girls become the people they were born to be and it gives us hope for the future of humanity.
