Mentor & Climbing Base Camp Expeditions Leader

Danny is from Phoenix, Arizona and has had a passion for the outdoors since spending summers as a a kid backpacking in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming. He got his undergraduate degree in creative writing, but after realizing he was not the next John Steinbeck, decided to go back to school. He got a Masters of Education in Community and Social Change from the University of Miami, FL. He has been traveling and teaching Environmental/Outdoor Education for the past 6 years. When he can be pried away from a book, you will find him rock climbing, kayaking, or hiking. This will be his second summer as a mentor at Green River Preserve and he is very excited to be back!
