Hi! I’m Dylan

Growing up in rural North Carolina, Dylan was surrounded by nature from a very early age. His parents kept large gardens which would draw his whole family outdoors for hours on end. In the 6th grade, Dylan was fortunate enough to attend The Hawbridge School, a small charter school with a focus on the outdoors situated on the bank of the Haw River in Saxapahaw, North Carolina. While in attendance, Dylan learned vital survival skills as well as backpacking skills. Extracurricular activities at the school included backpacking trips in the mountains of North Carolina and canoeing on the Haw River. This is where Dylan caught the spark that ignited the fire that is his lust for the great outdoors.
