Hi! I’m Emily

Mentor

Emily has always loved going outside to play. She has loved getting to know different forests, starting with the prickly pastures and sticky swamps and Louisiana and Mississippi. She recently took a trip to Puerto Rico where she delightfully knew as little flora as she did Spanish. Emily got her Art History degree from Tulane University, with a minor in Italian and considerable experience in defensive biking, creole food consumption and jazz appreciation. She then suffered a fresh air deficiency and decided to become an outdoor educator. In her fourth summer at GRP, she hopes to listen more and talk less, cook and eat more, become better at the banjo and be around lots of cool people.
