Hi! I’m Kelsy

Counselor

Kelsy grew up in both NC and AZ, where she first discovered her love for the outdoors while splashing in the creeks of Sedona. After high school, she was lucky enough to squeeze in some adventures before becoming a full-time student again. She volunteered in Norway, where she spent three months exploring the mountains and fjords, kayaking under the midnight sun, and playing with hundreds of goats (her favorite)! After that, she went mountaineering on a NOLS expedition in Canada, where she crossed glaciers and made friends with ice worms. After all that excitement, she enrolled in VCUarts in Richmond, VA, where she now studies graphic design. She’s counting down the days until she can get back to the Blue Ridge Mountains and meet all of the wonderful people at GRP!
