Hi! I’m Matthew

Matthew was born and raised in Fremont, Ohio, a small town in northwest Ohio. As a kid, Matthew grew up always playing outdoors, whether it was climbing trees or going for adventures on bikes. He is currently studying Environmental Education at Bowling Green State University and believes his contact with nature as a kid led him to his career path. During one spring break, Matthew stayed at the Woodland Mountain Harvest Farm in Boone, North Carolina, an off-grid home that uses renewable energy and various permaculture practices. This is when he fell in love with the mountains of North Carolina and wanted to find a way to come back. Matthew can’t wait for his first summer at GRP!
