Hi! I’m Tessa

Counselor

Tessa was an All Tucked Inn counselor at GRP during the summer of 2018 and she is excited to return this summer. Currently, Tessa is finishing up her final semester at Central Michigan University. She will be graduating in May with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and an insight in Language Arts. Tessa loves to go hiking around the lakes of Michigan, especially in the summer, and the mountains of North Carolina! Tessa also has a crazy sock collection, including bacon and egg socks. Her favorite thing to cook in the backcountry are the yummy pita pizzas made during Camp Out. She says that something about Camp Out makes the food taste that much better! Tessa chooses to spend her summer with a bunch of kids in nature because she gets to spend the summer doing what she loves - she loves spending time outdoors and she loves spending time with kids and listening to all of their jokes! GRP keeps Tessa coming back with the sense of community and all of the amazing things to experience. The best memory she has from GRP would be the Pretty Place hike, her jaw dropped the second she stepped into the chapel.
