The single most powerful evening of Session 3 was tonight. Closing ceremonies came and went all too fast. We had nearly a quarter of our campers play together, with staff, at the last Upper Council Fire of the session. Following the Green River Ramblers and the walking stick ceremony, we walked to the waterfront, to grab a wish boat and find a spot on the lakeside to release it. The emotions were all over the place tonight, with lots of hysterical laughter and many tears of love.
What makes this session so impactful are the relationships formed, the connections made. We find that we have more in common with each other than we could’ve imagined. It’s easy to see that we all hope for a better world, a better way of living and above all else, the ability to seek the joy.
