Hi! I’m Shaina

Shaina currently is a junior at Mississippi State University and this will be her first year at GRP. Shaina is so excited for the memories that she will make this summer. At Mississippi State University she is majoring in wildlife, fisheries and aquaculture science. Shaina’s favorite outdoor activities are wakeboarding and horseback riding. Her favorite thing to cook in the backcountry would have to be either fried eggs or baked beans with hot dogs.

Being outdoors and submersed in nature is Shaina’s absolute favorite place to be. She says that you never know what to expect when working with kids because they keep you on your toes and always find the fun and exciting side of everything, which she really enjoys. Shaina can’t wait to spend her summer in nature with all of the campers. Shaina’s favorite adventure is either when she went surfing in California for spring break or when she went snowboarding in Taos, New Mexico. Something unique about Shaina is that she was born in Trinidad, which is a small island off the coast of South America, and lived there until she was 10.
