Olivia is a North Carolina native who recently graduated from the Yale School of Public Health, where she continues to study infectious disease epidemiology. She loves exploring the relationships between virus transmission, bugs, and ecology, and if you happen to find a tick this summer she’ll probably get pretty excited and ask if she can take a look at it. When she’s not geeking out about health sciences, Olivia loves to run, sing, play banjo very badly, bake things, and swing dance. After being a camper, expeditioner, and counselor for nine summers, she can’t wait to be back at the Green River Preserve as a mentor!
