Hi! I’m Susan

Camp Mom

Susan, or “Dr. G.” as she is known to students of all ages, is a vintage educator. She’s worked with learners from pre-school through graduate school in pretty much every subject. Right now, she lives outside her home town of Pittsburgh and is back in the classroom as a gifted teacher for kids in grades K-6. More importantly, Susan is the mom of three kids, two of them long-time campers at Green River Preserve. When the kids attended GRP, the whole family fell in love with the place and the people. Susan knows first-hand that there is simply no better place to experience your best self in a pretty extraordinary setting! Last year was Susan’s first stint as camp mom, and she’s ecstatic to have been invited back for part of another summer!
