Counselor

Julia is from North Carolina and considers the mountains her true home. She came to Green River Preserve for three years as a camper and is ready to return to her childhood paradise as a counselor! She is an artist, a lover of backpacking, and an ice cream enthusiast. GRP installed in Julia a love for the environment and a sense of adventure that has taken her to Africa, South America, Europe, and all through the US, to learn about and experience this Earth’s wonders. She is studying Biology in college and considers what she learned at GRP a big driving force in that decision. Julia is very excited to be able to give GRP campers the amazing, and life changing experience she had years ago while constantly singing and playing group games!
