This week at GRP

The smell of paint is in the air at basecamp. We had so much fun staining the Health Hut, that we decided to paint the cabinville bathrooms. They are going to look like brand new once we are done, and we are excited for all to see. While we are sad that we did not get to open our doors yesterday, for the first session, we know that we will come together again soon. In the meantime, we are excited about this week’s events for #GRPatHome

Grab your s’more making materials and join GRP staffers for a fire by friction demonstration and s’mores on Thursday, June 11th at 7:00m EDT. Please follow the link to register. We do ask that if you are going to join us for s’mores after that a parent be present for at home fires and s’more cooking.

Did your camper fill out the camper email exchange? There is still time, I will be sending out the emails next week. This is a great way for campers to get the contact information of past cabin mates and stay in touch.

Missing Fly Fishing at GRP this summer? Here are some fun coloring pages about trout by the Confluence Collective. Not all are local to Western NC, but we definitely have Brook Trout in the Upper Pond!

Don’t forget to check out what Sandy has been planting in the Hemlock Field below!

Have a great week and seek the joy!
