Hi, I’m David!

Program Intern

David first came to GRP as a counselor in 2018 and rediscovered his love of nature through a summer full of hiking, teaching, and cooking on pizza rocks. He returned the next summer before spending a semester abroad in Berlin and graduating from Ball State University in 2020 in Sustainability and German. He is working at an environmental education program in Casper, Wyoming this school year, living at 8,000 feet on top of Casper Mountain, guiding students through its unique mountain ecosystems, and skiing every weekend. The two summers spent at GRP cemented his passion for the outdoors and education, and he is beyond excited to come back in 2021 for another season of helping campers become their best selves—he knows GRP did the same for him!
