Hi, I’m Laura!

Counselor

Laura is an Environmental Studies student at Virginia Commonwealth University with a passion for the outdoors and children’s education. She believes that growing and learning in nature is essential to nurturing ourselves as people, and for cultivating a lifelong, positive relationship with the Earth. She joins the Green River Preserve family this summer with excitement and is eager to put her love for children and nature into practice as a Counselor. In her free time, Laura enjoys hiking, cooking, spending quality time with her loved ones, and rock climbing! Her hopes for this summer are to form meaningful relationships with campers and peers, to explore and learn about the surrounding wildlife, and to be a little silly along the way.
