Hi, I’m Mason!

Counselor

Hailing from Lake Mary, Florida, Mason grew up coming to GRP for both camp and expeditions, spending a total of eight summers with Green River. During this time he discovered a true appreciation of the outdoors and found a home into the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. At home, Mason was an avid volleyball player and loved computers, but still found time to get outside, whether it be on a hike with his dogs or out at the beach with friends and family. Following a year off from GRP to travel with National Geographic to Norway, Mason is now a first year prospective computer science major at Princeton University, and is thrilled to be rejoining GRP. This will be Mason’s first year at GRP as a counselor and ninth summer overall, and he could not be happier to return to his home away from home.
