“Until you step into the unknown, you don’t know what you’re made of.” ― Roy T. Bennett
Today, we venture into the woods of the Preserve to experience the truest form of exploration in nature. Today is the start of Campout. For the next couple of days and nights, Campers will backpack to the various shelters spread throughout GRP. They’ll gather and purify their own water, carry and cook their own food and create shelters using lightweight tarps and ropes. This experience of working together and living outdoors will strengthen the bonds of fellowship within our community. The bravery required to walk into the woods with the intent to stay, even for one night, is not something that everyone in the world can do or would willingly embrace. Hats off to all of our Campers out there in the wilderness, loving life and continuing the be their best selves.
