Savoring the Moments

“I’ve always believed in savoring the moments. In the end, they are the only things we’ll have.” ― Anna Godbersen

It seems like Campers just arrived and yet we’ve done and seen so much already. We’ve delved into the depths of the Cave, found ourselves pretending to be animals during Predator Prey, and learned a variety of new skills. Ultimately, we’ve tried our best to grasp the nettle and show our mettle. Times of immense joy are scattered throughout the experiences on Mentor Hikes, during Afternoon Activities, and while outside or in on Evening Programs. The daily chorus is a mix of hearty laughter, the inquisitive chatting of campers and staff, the songs of birds and insects, the sounds of many footsteps, fly reels spinning, kickballs being kicked, and a hundred other minute noises between the distinguishable ones. It’s the song of life and GRP and we’re now all a part of it, forevermore.
