Ethan grew up in Chapel Hill, NC running in the single-track trails and exploring local ecosystems. He first joined GRP as a counselor in 2017 while studying Environment Science and History at Duke University. Since graduating, Ethan has worked in educational roles in the French Pyrenees, Washington, D.C., and Sanford, N.C. The last two summers, he worked as a Mentor at GRP and led backpacking trips for teenagers in the National Parks surrounding Seattle. Ethan’s favorite activities are trail running, learning about plants, and trying new foods. Ethan is excited for the opportunity this summer to teach and learn alongside GRP’s oldest campers.
