Hi, I’m Elliot!

Programs Intern

Growing up in Louisville, Kentucky, Elliot grew up fishing with their dad, going to wilderness camps, learning how to garden, and spending all their free time with wildlife. Elliot recently graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in parks and recreation, and a minor in tourism and events. Their time in Bowling Green was spent at Mammoth Cave, Lost River, and with the Bowling Green Park Department. They also planned countless free & fun events for students on campus, fundraising events for refugees, and spent time as a tour guide for a local railway museum in Bowling Green. They even spent a week in Montana fly fishing. Elliot once took a camp counselor job in Colorado on a whim one summer “because why not?”, and it was the best thing they have ever done. Line dancing, Dutch Bros, hiking up Mount Huron, and going to renaissance fairs are some of Elliot’s favorite memories. This will be their first summer at Green River Reserve, and they can’t wait to get started!
