Summertime Fun

Tonight we found ourselves celebrating Independence Day. Since July 4th happened to be the day before Campout, we didn’t have the chance to stay up late and enjoy it. After dinner, we ate mounds of ice cream until our sugary hearts were were bouncing off the walls–in case you didn’t know, we got a Grand Slam! Then we made our way to the Front Field for some slip n’ slide action and basically an extension of Free-Time. Next, for our grand finale, we sent up 15 American Flag-themed sky lanterns–one for each cabin–into the oncoming night. The magic continues…
