Who Wants Pancakes?

Campout continues in our pocket of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This morning, we visited the backpacking groups located by the Green River, at Hemlock Field and Prayer Rock. Both groups were gathered around a campfire, making pancakes, with the addition of multi-colored sprinkles. This is not completely unusual, but it was amusing, all the same. After the previous day of rain/sunshine/thunder/fog/lightning/sunshine?, it seems our campers are unfazed and enjoying breakfasts of thick fire-cooked pancakes, layered in sprinkles of sugary delight.
